Insider's Beauty Tips For Fall
Fall is in the air and with the change of season also comes time to change up your beauty routine. And we’re here today to share with you some Insider's beauty tips you will “FALL" for!
Give Your Locks Some Love
Color: It is time to say goodbye to those sun-kissed highlights. Instead, try a warmer look, doing so is going to help even out the color! Additionally, this will give you time to try something that can stay true to the color as you don’t have to worry about your hair fading as much, due to the limited sun exposure in the fall.
Get a Trim: In the summer months, we are exposing our hair to chlorine, salt water, and the sun, which can lead to damage! So what better time than the fall to give yourself a trim or even a new hairstyle!
Deep Condition: Once again, we subject our hair to so much in the summer that may have caused some damage. So getting a hot oil treatment or even a deep conditioner can help you to restore moisture and elasticity, showing those tresses some much needed TLC.
Makeup
Lips: It is time to swap out some of those corals and pinks for some deep reds and burgundy.
Bronzer: Move from over the sun-kissed cheekbone look to under for a more contoured look. You can achieve this with our Sonicblend. The first of its kind SONIC makeup brush that applies makeup at sonic speeds up to 400 times per second and has built-in protection against microbial contamination, so the brush stays cleaner fresher longer

Eyes: Darker hues and Smokey eyes are perfect for the fall!
Face: You want to make sure that you are moisturized so implementing a BB crème is great as these are ideal for hydrating the skin as well as evening out your skin tone. BB creams also contain antioxidants, SPF and other key ingredients that are designed to improve the look of your skin's health. You may also need to change up the color to something lighter, especially if you had a tan in the summer time.
Skincare
Cleanse: In the summer months we are drawn towards clarifying cleansers that help to remove that mixture of sweat, makeup, humidity, pollution and oil from our pores. The transition to fall calls for a change in your cleanser as well. Switching from a gel based cleanser to a milky cream cleanser can help your skin adjust to the sudden drop in humidity. This will help you to avoid that unwanted tight feeling in the skin that we tend to get in the dryer months.
Serum: As the angle of the sun changes and temperatures drop, we tend to spend less time in the sun. Now is an excellent opportunity to apply serums that help improve the appearance of dark spots (age spots). We recommended that you don't use AHA’s and Retinoids during the summer months because sun exposure is a huge no-no during and after their use.

Moisturizer: Most of us were wearing light-weight if not oil-free moisturizers through the summer months. It’s ideal to gradually add more moisture into your routine, so start slow. You don’t need to slather your super heavy night cream all over your skin for day wear. You may want to try a moisturizer in the middle and save the emollient rich super thick moisturizer for the winter months. Michael Todd’s Damascus Rose Enriched Wrinkle Cream is a great middle of the road moisturizer that is ideal for most skin types to use in the fall months except oily skin.
Treatments: We all want laser hair removal in the summer months when we are in those teeny tiny bikinis. Unfortunately, your laser technician will tell you to come back when you don’t have any sun tan and don’t plan on being in the sun for months on end. Because Laser Hair removal is a lengthy process that requires anywhere from 6-12+ treatments scheduled many weeks apart, now is a good time to sign up and start a series so that you are ready for next summer.
Until next time!
